experience in a Network Operations Management function for a medium to large global corporate environment
Hands on experience to handle major change request, new configuration specifically on routing & switching with exposure comprising of hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, Brocade & technology solutions such as BGP, VPN , MPLS, VoIP, IPS/IDS. Working experience on Cisco ASA Firewalls is essential.
Responsible for day to day network operations on network and security providing data services to the business on 24 x 7 x 365 basis.
Take complete ownership for troubleshooting and recovering from network incidents and work with other support teams / service providers.
Desirable:
To be available at all times to manage escalations, issues related to network and security operations for data services.
To work with other team members to deploy network and security solutions and services as required supporting current and future business needs.
To communicate with the management and business users in a timely fashion about planned maintenance, emergency maintenance or network incidents and any other business impacting activities.
Management Functions
deliver audit and other MIS reports /documents as and when requested by internal or external audit teams / reporting manager.
To participate in meetings and calls with management, facilitate team meetings, coordinate with vendors and clients.
Qualification: BE or BCS or BSc or Diploma (Computer Science / Electronics / E&T)
Certification - CCNA must, Juniper certification will be added advantage
